About
6 browser strategy games, one label each.
PlayWharf lists 6 strategy games that run in an ordinary browser tab, from Generals.io to Planets.nu, and gives each the same 13 facts: game length, check-ins, players, money, chat, age and more.

What the site does
PlayWharf covers 6 strategy games you can start in a browser tab, from Generals.io, where a match takes minutes, to Planets.nu, where one game runs for months. All 6 were checked on 23 October 2026 against the same 13 facts, from 'One game lasts' to 'Age'.
The plate on each container shows 3 of those facts: game length, check-ins and players. The stickers add what to know before signing up, and the fact table on the Games page shows all 13.
Why these six
We checked 22 games in a browser on 23 October 2026. A game made the list if it opened without a download, showed a new version, a running game or a post in recent months, and sold no paid random items.
The Dock notes explain the best-known games we left out: War.app for its coin wheel and paid-entry prize games, and the 3 Supremacy war games because their terms allow loot boxes.
Who writes it
PlayWharf is a small independent site with no link to any of the studios or volunteer teams behind the 6 games. We take no payment from them, and the Play buttons go straight to territorial.io, generals.io, lichess.org, webdiplomacy.net, www.freecivweb.com and planets.nu with no referral codes.
Where a fact is our estimate it is marked est., as with the 5 to 15 minutes we give for a Generals.io match. Where we could not find something, such as Generals.io's minimum age, the page says 'not stated'.
How it is paid for
Today it is not: no adverts, no affiliate links and no analytics. The only thing stored is your answer to the cookie banner, in your own browser. If that changes, the Cookies page will name the service before it goes live.
